ABOUT US
All God’s Children began as a prayerful endeavor in June of 2001. A group of Christ-centered members of Delta Community Presbyterian Church began the process of opening a Christian preschool in Discovery Bay. The first eight AGC board members worked diligently to bring Jesus to the children of this community. There were very few road blocks during the year and half of planning and preparation which showed the board and DCPC that God was at the forefront. Their mantra was “always look up, He will show us the way!” On January 6, 2003 All God’s Children Christian School opened! We had six students, one paid head teacher, and two volunteer assistant teachers who “job-shared”. By March of 2003 we had 18 students and had split into two classrooms. One preschool classroom and one Pre-K classroom.
When school began in August of 2003, we had 50 students in our half-day program! We now had one preschool classroom and two pre-k classrooms.
In August 2009 DCPC/AGC expanded the campus and added six permanent classrooms. One preschool classroom, two pre-k classrooms, one Kindergarten classroom, a 1st/2nd combination class, and a 3rd/4th combination class. AGC also added full day child care from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. In August 2010 AGC added 5th grade to its educational offerings.
God has always lead AGC where He has wanted it. Our most important mission has been loving and caring for the amazing and precious children He has placed at AGC. As educators we continue to be in awe of all God has done and all He continues to do for the children of our community. We are blessed!
