Jennifer Leypon

Hello, my name is Jennifer Leypon, and I am the Principal & Director of All God’s Children Christian School in Discovery Bay. I have worked at AGC for 7 years as the Pre-Kindergarten teacher, Spanish teacher, Elementary substitute in all grades, and Assistant Director. I have enjoyed each day with my AGC Family developing relationships with the parents, students, and staff, whose goals and hopes for the future inspire me. I feel honored and blessed to have the opportunity to serve the families and students at AGC. From a very early age I knew that I wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of children. With that goal in mind, I attended San Diego State University, where I studied Child and Family Development and achieved my Bachelors of Science degree. Upon graduation, in 2001 I began my teaching career and soon after got married to my best friend of 18 years in 2003. I am a mother of 3 boys who have all attended AGC since preschool and have continued on through the elementary program. Being a part of AGC as both a mother and administrator has given me a unique perspective. I have had the pleasure to see the strong faith and academic foundation that AGC has given my own children as well as the blessing of seeing all the hard work of our incredible team of teachers come to fruition. I am very passionate about this school, our mission, and the future. At AGC, we put our “Faith First” and work diligently to create a nurturing, disciplined and challenging environment in which all students can become responsible and Christ-like members of our community. I look forward to building that sense of community among our school and to a productive partnership with parents and teachers to ensure each child achieves their highest potential.
Diana Schoonover

Hello, I am Diana Schoonover, AGC Administrator for five years. Before landing at AGC, I embarked upon a very colorful career that has affording me the opportunity to acquire many skills and unique experiences. While working for 10 years at Harte Hanks Pennysaver I was Staff Accountant, Purchasing Manager, Facilities Manager, Shipping and Receiving, Circulation & Distribution Manager. Many of these positions overlapped each other. Then I took a time out from being a mom and learned graphic design, and typesetting working with one of my best friends in her home. Eventually, I went back into commercial printing doing estimating and accounts receivables and started my own business consulting business. A few years ago I joined a staffing agency and became a Business Developer. Now, I bring all my variety of skills and experience to All God’s Children where I get to improve processes and procedures and ensure everything runs smoothly. For fun I’ve studied green building practices, have written for a Christian newspaper, served on our church board as a Membership Elder and when I have a spare moment I write a blog.
Reverend Doug Schoonover

Hello, I’m Pastor Doug Schoonover, and for over 30 years I have been involved with youth ministry. I have been the Pastor here at Delta Community since July of 2013. My son Adam is 21 and recently completed his degree in Digital Photography from the Academy of Art College in Francisco. During college in the mid-80’s I rededicated my life to Christ and not soon afterward was called into the ministry. My walk with Jesus in ministry has been an exciting one Involving youth ministry, Navy Chaplaincy, Hospice and Hospital Chaplaincy, and now the honor and privilege of being pastor here. I truly feel that God is starting an amazing movement with AGC and I can’t wait to see how he will continue to move.
